A couple thousand years ago, Jesus went on his three-year mission preaching the Gospel, healing people, warning and encouraging people to repent of their sins and believe in him. In other words, he taught the truth and exposed the lies and liars.
He said in John 3:16-21,
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
Whether one believes in the Bible or that Jesus is the Son of God, or that God even exists, it doesn’t change how Jesus lived his life and how he treated and interacted with other people. If one doesn’t believe that Jesus is the Son of God, then they must believe he is a liar or a crazy person for saying he is the Son of God. One can’t say they don’t believe that Jesus is the Son of God, but they believe he was a good man and a good role model to live by. A good man doesn’t lie and mislead people. So, if he isn’t the Son of God, then he is not a good man. People must choose, was he the Son of God or a liar, straddling the fence is not an option. But even if one believes Jesus was a fraud, it still doesn’t change how he actually lived his life, in poverty, humility, with compassion and understanding for the common people.
Here’s the thing that way too many people don’t understand, there is the truth and there is the untruth, there is no gray area. We create a gray area to avoid conflict. People say ridiculous things like, “this is my truth, and that is your truth.” In reality, something is either true or it’s not. Agreeing to disagree is how people resolve unresolvable differences in a cordial way. But agreeing to disagree doesn’t make something correct or incorrect. We now live in a time where everything must be respected, no matter how ridiculous it may be.
Jesus should be viewed as the true Son of God, or a liar, and people should be brave enough to say which they view him as. They don’t need to be mean about it, but the idea that everyone is right even though they are saying completely different things is why society is currently so confused.
How did Jesus interact with people, how did he interact with the common people versus how he interacted with the elite who controlled the system. Needless to say, he treated both very differently.
With the common people, Jesus showed compassion and empathy. While being compassionate to the sinners, he didn’t condone their sin. I believe he taught the people the truth, he showed the people how they have been led astray. He didn’t promote sin; he didn’t tell the people they should live their lives in whatever manner they choose. He explained that sin leads to death. He didn’t make excuses for people; he didn’t minimize their sin. He was very straight forward. While he exposed their sin, he didn’t mock them or look down on them, he gave them the truth and presented them the way out of sin and death. He gave them an all-inclusive path to redemption. He didn’t tell them they are idiots and walk away.
Not everyone accepted Jesus. Not everyone took kindly to being told they are a sinner and the wage for their sin is death. While Jesus was loved by some of the common people and hated by others, he treated them all with respect and compassion.
Jesus wasn’t a “doom and gloomer” or a “black piller”. He spoke the truth, and in order for the people to understand the truth, they needed to understand how they had been lied to, how they had been deceived. Jesus didn’t say “you are going to Hell and there is nothing you can do about it.” He told them they were on the path to Hell, and they needed to change course. He gave them the proper path to follow that leads to redemption, to Heaven.
Jesus treated the church leaders and government officials much differently.
To the money changers, Jesus turned over their tables and chased them out of the Temple with a whip. This is a stark difference from how he treated the common people, the people who had been led astray. With the church leaders, Jesus called them sons of Satan. I can’t imagine a bigger insult. The people who believed that they were holier than thou, were called the offspring of Satan. Ponder for a moment how truly offensive this must have been to them. Imagine how offended you would be if someone called you the son or daughter of Satan, especially if you believed you were morally superior.
To the pedophiles, Jesus simply said it would be better if they had a millstone tied around their neck and thrown into the sea. This isn’t compassion. This isn’t teaching or correcting. This isn’t understanding. Jesus didn’t use a different, less offensive word to describe the pedophiles. Jesus didn’t move them to a different parish or suggest they not interact with children. His response to them was condemnation, nothing more, nothing less.
Jesus knew what was in the people’s hearts and he knew what was in the church leaders’ hearts. He taught the common people, but he rebuked the church leaders. Jesus didn’t try to teach the church leaders the way he taught the common people. He didn’t show compassion for the church leaders the way he did for the common people.
When Jesus died on the cross, he didn’t express hate towards the Roman soldiers that tortured and killed him. He didn’t hate the bystanders that mocked him. He asked God to forgive them, for they know not what they do.
If Jesus walked the liberal streets of America today, I believe he would treat the common people the same way he did two thousand years ago. He wouldn’t mock, belittle, or express anger towards those who disagreed with him. Even to the people who mock and hate him, he would show compassion and respect.
I believe if Jesus was alive today, he would teach the truth with compassion and respect without conforming to or advocating sin. He wouldn’t view the common people as his enemy. In teaching the truth, some reject it because it condemns them, while others accept it in humility. As it says in the Bible, if a town doesn’t accept you, shake off the dirt from your sandals and move on to the next town. It doesn’t say to burn it down on the way out.
I believe if Jesus was alive today, he would rebuke the Deep State Cabal and the pedophiles but show empathy and patience for those who are asleep. This is a good example for us to follow. Most people are not our enemies, even if they have hurt, disrespected and mocked us. Most people are simply lost and mislead and don’t know the truth, they know not what they do.
Some understand the truth but reject it because it condemns them, to them we should shake the dirt off our sandals and move on from them. If one knowingly rejects the truth and chooses darkness, they have shown what is in their hearts.
Those in positions of power and influence who knowingly push lies and mislead the people we must rebuke. We should show no compassion for the Deep State Cabal who understand their lies lead to death. But we can’t confuse those who believe the lies with the liars. We can’t confuse those being misled with the misleaders. Jesus was able to separate the two, and so must we.
Jesus knew who the enemy is and never took his eye off of them, he never trusted them. He didn’t try to teach or correct them; he didn’t try to assimilate with them, or ally with them. He was focused on teaching the truth and caring for the people who had been misled.
Jesus didn’t come into the world to condemn it, but to save it. This is how we should view the world today. Express honesty, compassion and understanding for the lost, manipulated and confused, even when they ridicule us. But spend no time, effort and have no mercy for those who knowingly mislead and abuse. We have been given a perfect example of how to respond to those who hurt children and mislead the people. They are the sons and daughters of Satan and should be treated as such. But for the lost and confused, we must show patience and understanding.
This is easier said than done, but it should be our goal. I believe we have been woken up before the others for a reason, and that reason isn’t to ridicule and mock, it is to teach and comfort. As Jesus prayed and asked God to be merciful towards the mislead people who tortured and murdered him, we should follow his lead. We have been chosen to be God’s advocates on Earth, and we are held to a higher standard.
AMEN, Erik! Absolutely perfect timing to remind us of the example God set for us with His Son. I agree it’s our purpose to help those who will awaken quickly as the speed they will experience is much more damaging than what we’ve gradually learned over time.
God bless you.🙏
I agree with all of this.
There is an additional dimension which has repeatedly struck me since 2016.
I don’t know about anyone else, but I have sometimes felt such powerlessness when I confront the full enormity of what we are being faced with.
Then I behold giants like the legitimate President who are withstanding horrifying attacks and degradation at the hands of the satanic forces arrayed against humanity. He is now finally being helped by other Soldiers of Light.
I then understand that we are literally being protected by Jesus Christ my God. He has sent powerful angels and other instruments to shield His children. Simultaneously we are being forced to confront what is being done and the way is being shown to us.
As we mourn what has been taken away from us as a people, we must also resolve to do our part in whatever way we can, small or large.
You Erik and so many others are a true inspiration to me. Please remember this whenever you feel downhearted or discouraged.
I continue to be extremely optimistic about the future, despite my calculation that even now things are going to get much worse, as Satan flings everything at humanity before God’s light will again shine on this world.
Thank you.
