Erik I loved this article. Sometimes all articles get too complicated for me especially when it involves the Middle East and politics. Which is all anyone talks about anymore ! But this one was very easy to understand and especially if what you have said is true about what our Prez is doing. Sometimes don’t we all wonder what the man is thinking ! It all makes wonderful sense how Trump is setting up America for a fantastic future.
Without leverage, one is usually forced to make a less than ideal deal. It’s like trying to finance a house when you have no job and a ton of debt. The bank will charge you more if they choose to give you a mortgage.
I agree with your comments. Erik writes brilliant articles that are elegant and understandable. Some who write in a convoluted and complicated manner are not always the most intelligent imo. Maybe they want to impress rather than inform.
Our country truly won’t know how to act with fair trade deals! We know the cabal took control of the US industrial revolution at the very beginning, along with many of the other schemes created to rob American production and taxpayers, long before we could actually reap the rewards of our unique work ethic. Golden age indeed!!
.....doesn't common sense feel like 'morning-coffee' - - wakes us up , sets us on the right course ! pls read comment by LEE (above / below) expressing the joy / relief that Trump et al have got it , and ERIK confirms it - - enjoy the 'Cofeve' cuz life's good again . . . ............blessings lee
Bingo, again, Erik. Good insight and clear explanation! Thanks so much. i am sending your articles to others. I have become aware of Art of the Deal with Ashe and Canncon. DJT is a master of this. We are so fortunate to him lead us.
A great project would be to research the very products requiring minerals “we don’t “ and find there are huge reserves of other minerals for products that far exceed what is being narratively used now - one example is lithium. It is only required because the system requires it now… change the system / product you change the requirements.
Erik, another spot on post. in the words of Kenny Rogers, You got to know when to hold em, Know when to fold em, know when to walk away and know when to run... Trump knows... LOL...The reason most people were intrigued by Trump is because he is a business man and not a politician... Politics, Poly= many Tic=blood sucking insect... A group of baboons is a congress... A lot of good information in a short post... I love that.. keep on doing what you do... Peace...
Zelensky appears to be a loose cannon. What he says one day he denies the next. How do you negotiate with a liar? I also think he shows signs of being perverse and a psychopath. But his country's Parliament just voted against his bill, which would have made him President for life, or close to that. The Parliament of Ukraine has made it clear that they want to wash their hands of him.
Nevertheless, European countries and Ursula Van der Leyen are planning on going ahead with making Ukraine a NATO member, despite the price this will cost in blood and treasure. Trump has a very difficult negotiating partner in Zelensky. Zelensky is all about Zelensky and meeting his own needs for power and wealth. He alone has extracted a tremendous amount of wealth from the American taxpayer, with several mansions around the world, and much more, yet no matter how much money he is given, he makes the rounds of all the countries asking for more.
I will be relieved when we taxpayers will never have to send him a cent.
Well, at least I have gained an understanding of Trump supporters. You do understand that the biggest lie out there is that Ukraine started the war. Give your head a shake. If that doesn’t work move to Russia, the average IQ in both countries will go way up.
Another possibility that explains the difference between the $174 billion the Biden reports and the $500 billion that Trump is demanding would be that Trump is being less than honest. Biden has told lies in his career, for sure, but so has Trump. In this case Trump has a clear motive for lying: he wants to please Putin by impoverishing Ukraine while at the same time enriching his cronies. For example, if Tesla started making more of its batteries in house the production costs of Tesla automobiles would plummet. Musk would benefit greatly by having a source of raw materials that he could use to ramp up battery production.
I won’t deny it, but would like to point out that TDS goes both ways. Refusing to acknowledge his dishonesty and mercenary motives is as deranged as refusing to acknowledge whatever good he might do. Hopefully the shoe will be on the other foot in a couple of years.

The love of money truly is the root of all evil!

Thanks for this analysis, very helpful.

Erik, you rock! Agree with all of the above except the TDS guy.😊

Andrew, you sound a little butt hurt. Most likely from your TDS syndrome, IMO.
